4-H is the non-formal youth development education program of the United States Department of Agriculture and the University of Arizona. Whether you live in the city, the suburbs, or on a farm/ranch, you can belong to the 4-H Program. 4-H helps youth develop through the mentoring and involvement of parents, teens, and other volunteers. They involve youth in organizing and conducting learning experiences in a community setting.

4-H clover Members
Who are 4-H members? They are youth just like you, from K-12th grade. K-3rd grade members are enrolled in Clover Kids. Youth 4th - 12th grade may be part of a traditional 4-H club, a special interest group, an after school group, school enrichment program or camps. 4-H Clover Mission
The Mission of Arizona 4-H Youth Development is to provide educational opportunities for youth to become capable and contributing members of a global society. In support of this mission, we will: provide formal and non-formal community-focused experiential learning, develop skills that benefit youth throughout life, project work, personal development opportunities, leadership and citizenship, foster leadership and volunteerism in youth and adults.

The 4-H colors are green and white. Green is nature's most common color and symbolizes youth, life, and growth; white is for purity.
