The Office of International
Programs (OIP) is part of the College of
Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at The University of Arizona. It serves
four major functions by directing its activities toward:
In addition to the activities outlined above, the Office of International Programs also directs the activities of the Peace Corps office on campus. This entails responding to inquiries, requests for applications, interviews and nominations. In this mission, the UA Peace Corps office has been very successful. In fact, The University of Arizona ranks 22nd of all colleges in total recruitment of Peace Corps volunteers since the Corps' inception in 1961.
