The 2-day Water Auditor workshop is designed to provide landscape professionals with an opportunity to upgrade their landscape water use management skills. Participants will learn to perform site inspections, evaluate irrigation systems, and develop efficient irrigation schedules. Class time is spent learning about irrigation theory, practicing collection of field data, and performing data entry and processing. Successful completion of the Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor exam will be recognized by issuance of a Certificate, honored by City of Tucson Water for the purpose of conducting Landscape Irrigation Water Audits.
The ½-day Water Budgeting workshop provides a hands-on case study class for Property Managers and Landscape Contractors using straightforward methods to calculate a water budget and evaluate water and cost savings. Topics and case study examples include landscape area measurement, weather data, water use data, irrigation system performance, rainwater harvesting and overall savings potential.
