Indoor Plants

This chapter is designed to familiarize you with the basic aspects of tropical plant care rather then attempting to acquaint you with specific cultural requirements of the more than 250 commonly grown plants in the foliage industry. Bear in mind that in most cases, homes and offices are environments poorly suited to the needs of tropical plants. Thus the task of the indoor plant gardener is to select plants that can best withstand the conditions of a specific indoor location.
