These videos explain how to monitor cotton crop development throughout the seasons. Dr. Jeff Silvertooth, an agronomist from the University of Arizona, examines the fruiting or flowering cycles of the cotton plant, including the period between first bloom and cut-out when principal yield is determined. This series includes six parts and they are:

  • stand and population evaluation
  • early season crop assessment and management
  • nitrogen and PIX management
  • mid-season crop management
  • late season crop management
  • crop management for defoliation
