Welcome to the Aquatic Ecology Program!

The focus of our group's research is to quantify anthropogenic stressors in aquatic ecosystems at both the ecosystem and organismal level. Specifically, projects involve a broad array of complexity from the behavioral and physiological to autecology, synecology, community, ecosystem, and landscape ecology.  Specific foci is in ecosystems either created or highly disturbed by human activity.

Program offices and lab-based research takes place at the Environmental Research Laboratory located near Tucson International Airport. We always need volunteers and occasionally need new graduate students, so contact Dr. Walker if you are interested in becoming part of our group!

Thank you for visiting our group website!
