Large monolith lysimeters are being used to simulate water use of a golf course fairway with bermudagrass overseeded with perennial ryegrass. Movement of nitrate through the soil profile and accumulation of salts in the soil profile, two potential problems resulting from effluent use are being monitored at various depths in the lysimeter soil profile.
