Overseeding and Transition
Winter turfgrass is overseeded in the early fall season and maintained throughout the winter into late spring when bermudagrass transitions back for the summer. Perennial and annual ryegrass, rough bluegrass, and other cool season species are tested at the Karsten Turfgrass Research Facility.
