The many categories of Education, Administrative, extended, Other, etc are no longer used, Master Gardeners need only put Moody in activity box to log garden activity time. Moody makers need only to enter the date, hours, miles and totals A. Print time sheet as a pdf document or word document fill out and return form to: B. Complete the form on line and send. Other information and instructions below. PLEASE! You only need to put the day in the date column, always use 2 figures, IE, 01, 05, 12, 25. You may want to print out a copy of the paper form (above) to keep in your folder for quick reference. Logging time Educational Hours - This category is changed, now you only log education time as the time you attend some sort of training or learning experience; i.e. you attend a lecture or class or time you spend doing personal research on a horticulture related subject. Please note that in order to maintain your status as a Master gardener you must log 12 hours of education time each year. Log the time by putting the Course or other identification in the Activity column and the hours in the Hours column. Note, if you do something other than education on the same day, please re-enter the date and fill in the second activity. All other time is logged by simply putting in the activity and the number of hours at that activity. Add your miles and the total hours and your done. The reason that you log your miles is to give you support should you use the miles as a deduction on your income tax. You will be able to request a letter from the office to support your claim.
