The University of Arizona

The Ambassadors serve as peer recruiters, advisors, and liaisons for the promotion of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) to campus and statewide audiences. The program was developed so that university students could answer critical questions about college life for younger students.

Ambassador activities are centered in two areas:

  1. School visitations and career fairs
  2. On campus activities and tours

A faculty coordinator and an assistant coordinator handle requests from organizations seeking Ambassadors for other activities. Fulfilling the requirements of each activity is the responsibility of one or more Ambassadors.

During any activity, Ambassadors adhere to a dress code. The code calls for the official Ambassador polo shirt and khaki pants.
