Dr. Pryor Teaches Two Courses Each Year

  1. "Mushrooms, Molds, and Man" This General Education course is an exciting, fast-paced romp through the kingdom Fungi and the impact of fungi on humans, history, society, and the environment. This large Lower Division class is an introduction to other UA mycology courses.

  2. "Introductory Plant Pathology" This Upper Division course broadly covers the etiology and epidemiology of plant disease, focusing on the main groups of plant pathogenic agents (especially fungi), the means by which these groups cause disease, the mechanisms by which plant defend themselves from pathogen, and strategies for controlling plant disease in agricultural and horticultural systems.
