Our graduate students are developing innovative systems to tackle quality of life issues regarding food and water availability.   Equipped with enegineering, life science and data science expertise, our Biosystems Engineering students are prepared to tackle qaulity of life challenges and create resilieny among scoiety, the environment, and the economy.  

The Department offers graduate work leading to the Master of Science Degree; Master of Engineering Degree; and the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. 

We bring different, people, ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives togehter to produce lasting solutions for all.  Valuing diversity in our students, staff, and faculty, we encourage and help all to be successfull. 

There is opportunity for study and research in many fields, including, but not limited to, the following:  Bioinformation; Bioproducts; Biosensors; Controlled Environment; Food Safety; Remote Sensing & Precision Agriculture; Renewable Energy; Soil & Water/ Irrigation.
