GETTING TO SCOTTSDALE
Scottsdale is part of the Phoenix-metro area in central Arizona. It is located adjacent to the cities of Mesa, Phoenix and Tempe. It is served by the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), which is approximately 10 miles west of Scottsdale. Most major carriers fly into Phoenix.
CAR RENTAL
If you plan on renting a vehicle while attending the conference, the Rental Car Center at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport accommodates all major rental companies. A free and frequent shuttle bus runs from the airport terminals to this off-site location.
TAXI AND SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM THE AIRPORT
Taxi terminal access is as follows: Terminal 2: North curbside, Terminal 3: North curbside and Terminal 4: Level 1, north curbside. The following taxis are contracted to pick up passengers at Phoenix Sky Harbor:

Rates remain the same regardless of company, number of passengers and number of bags. The first mile is $5. Each additional mile is $2.30. Each hour of a traffic delay is $23. The minimum fare is $15. Each per trip airport surcharge is $1.
Limousines offer airport-to-door service. For-hire limousines are available on the south curbs of Terminals 3 & 4 and just east of the north curb of Terminal 2. Rates vary according to destinations but typically range from $35 to $85.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL VALLEY HO
From Sky Harbor Rental Car Facility: Follow Sky Harbor Circle to 24th Street. Turn left on 24th Street. Follow 24th Street to Highway 202 East. Turn right onto the 202 East and follow to exit #7 Scottsdale Rd./Rural Rd. Take the Scottsdale Rd. exit and turn left on Scottsdale Rd. Follow Scottsdale Rd. approximately 3.5 miles to Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and follow 3 blocks to the entrance of the Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 E. Main Street.
From Los Angeles: Take I-10 East through to the 202 East. Follow the 202 East and exit at Scottsdale Rd., exit #7. Turn left on Scottsdale Rd. and follow to Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and follow to the end of Main Street, to the entrance to Hotel Valley Ho, 6850 East Main Street. Los Angeles to Scottsdale is approximately a 6.5 hour drive, or 390 miles.
From San Diego: Take I-8 East through Yuma. Take Highway 85 North and it will merge into the I-10; you want to head east to Phoenix/Scottsdale. Continue east and follow the above directions. Hotel Valley Ho is located at 6850 East Main Street, Scottsdale. San Diego to Scottsdale is approximately a 5 hour drive, or 365 miles.
From Tucson: Take I-10 West to the 202 East. Follow the 202 East to the 101 North. Stay on the 101 North for approximately 15 miles, and exit at Indian School Rd., exit #47. Turn left on Indian School Rd. and follow to Goldwater Blvd. Turn left on Goldwater Blvd. and right on Main Street. Follow one block to the entrance to the hotel, 6850 East Main Street. Tucson to Scottsdale is approximately a 2.5 hour drive, or 120 miles.
From Flagstaff or Northern Areas: Take I-17 south and follow to the 101 east exit. Follow 101 east to 101 south.Take the Indian School Road exit #47. Turn right on Indian School Rd. and follow approx. 2.5 miles to Goldwater Blvd. Turn left on Goldwater Blvd. and right on Main Street. Hotel Valley Ho is at the end of Main Street.Hotel Valley Ho Flagstaff to Scottsdale is approximately a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive or 160 miles.
