2.Objective

An objective is a statement of a long-time aim. It represents the destination the chapter wants to reach. 1. Goals need to be specific.

  2. Goals represent an improvement over the present. When an organization establishes goals for individual members or for the chapter as a whole, they should be based on the idea of improving what now exists.

  3. Goals should be attainable.

4. Ways and Means

Ways and means are procedures and methods used by an organization to reach a specific goal. When planning ways and means, keep in mind that they should outline the major activities that must take place to accomplish any given goal. Another important thing included in this section is putting dollar values on expenses that will enter into accomplishing certain goals.
