Application is how you will utilize the information you wish to share in your lesson.  It may be done through a game, a project, research paper, or a laboratory exercise.  Application helps you decide where the information you cover will be utilized in a teaching scenario.

Sample Application Activities for use after the lesson.

1. Worksheet to balance feeding rations. 
2. Home Improvement Projects.
3. Control insects at home or land laboratory. 
4. Mix chemicals for weed control. 
5. Write speech for contest.
6. Field-trip to judge soils.
7. Read electric meter at home today, tomorrow and 1 week from
today. Determine daily use in kilowatt hours. Calculate cost.
8. Construct a skills project.
9. Construct a skills exercise.
10. Develop a worksheet to write checks and balance the ledger. 
11. Apply techniques learned in SAE.
12. Keep record of supplementary skills. 
13. Develop management plan. 
14. Develop marketing plan.
15. Collect, identify, label, mount specimens. 
16. Construct a working model.
17. Complete a computer simulation model, and print out results. 
18. Use catalogs to order equipment, supplies, etc. 
19. Calculate answers to problems.
20. Complete a job application form.

DAILY OUTLINE

Attendance, announcements, review, introduction, re-introduction, film, video, assignments, group and/or individual task assignments, questions to be asked, realia, etc.
