Sarah Fox graduated in 2009 with a BS in Retailing and Consumer Science from the UA. Sarah began her career as a Merchandise Analyst with Kohl's Department Store Corporate office in Wisconsin. She then became Marketing Director for a credit union in Florida where she helped them improve market share through the development of a new website and brand image.
In 2011, Sarah became involved with the Pensacola Young Professionals (PYP) and has received numerous awards for her outstanding service, leadership, and organizational skills. She soon was elected to their Board and served as Vice President of Member Services. The Pensacola InWeekly Magazine named Sarah a “Rising Star” in 2014 for her contributions to PYP and the community.
Sarah completed her Masters in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of West Florida in April, 2016. She is currently employed as a Career Planning Coordinator at UWF where she conducts student and alumni appointments to explore majors and careers, reviews cover letters, resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interviewing, and networking skills, and provides student feedback for improvement. Sarah also teaches two freshman courses on college success skills and career planning.
Sarah attributes her accomplishments to her collegiate experience at the UA, the wonderful faculty and staff of the Norton School, and her involvement with Credit Wise Cats, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) where she developed communication skills, project management, and leadership skills. Sarah was highly involved with the 2008 SIFE team that won 1st place among 600 college teams and went on to represent the US at the World Cup competition in Singapore.
