There are many ways to accomplish a particular goal or project. In most cases, there is no 'one best' way and we continue make improvements on ways of doing things. Especially in times of rapid change of the processes or activities, we make improvements rapidly, and those that make the 'best' improvements are at a competitive advantage. To fine which organizations or groups are the more advanced, and therefore worth knowing more about, find which embrace the technique of "best practices".
