These reports were submitted by the University of Arizona College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to the USDA's 2000 CSREES Science and Education Impacts database in Washington, D.C. Arizona submitted 29 reports in February 2000 describing the impacts of research, extension and academic programs undertaken in 1999. An impact statement is a brief summary of the economic, environmental and/or social impact of a land-grant program. It states accomplishments and their payoff to society. Each of these reports is from one to two pages long.
