The University of Arizona

Group Details

The Ambassador group is kept between 20-25 students; only individuals who graduate are replaced. Each spring, a recruitment process begins. Because Ambassadors represent the diverse CALS student body, an application is sent to all undergraduates in CALS with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Applications are also placed in different CALS buildings, available to any CALS student. All majors within the college are encouraged to apply.

Current Ambassadors conduct interviews after reviewing applications. Individuals accepted into the program are notified via phone. Each new Ambassador receives a polo shirt and a nametag.

New Ambassadors attend a daylong orientation program. Additionally, new Ambassadors are required to chair one biweekly meeting and complete a presentation to the group before the end of the following semester.

Despite the influx of new Ambassadors each year, the goal of the program remains the same: recruit new students to CALS.

Applications will be available shortly. Please come and check back at a later date.
