Hands-On Drip Irrigation Systems Workshop

  • September 21, 2019
    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free as always!  This is a new workshop for beginning to advanced learners (not professionals) who want to understand simple to complex residential systems. Learn about and build a small scale drip irrigation system – including valves, pipe and emitters. The materials are set up on irrigation “tables” for easy access (no bending down required), this part of the class may be held outside on a covered patio.  This class is geared toward residential participants, not professional landscapers.   Hands-On activities include:

Using pvc cutters, “blue glue”, plumber’s tape, etc.

You will come away with a much better understanding of drip irrigation systems so that you can maintain and troubleshoot your own – or, if you are so inclined, install one yourself!

Instructor: Michael Ismail, Professional Landscaper and Pima County Master Gardener is a popular, experienced and engaging instructor.

Pre-Registration Required. If there is space available in the class, you can access it through the “REGISTER NOW” button.  “WAITLIST REGISTRATION” is under the map, below.

Those who come to class but are not registered may “stand-by” and participate IF space is available (class size is dictated by fire code).

Those who are on the waiting list have priority for “stand-by”.
