Tucson Gardening Essentials – April 27, 2019
- April 27, 2019
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Whether you’ve just designed your garden or landscape, or want to learn how to care for what you have, this class is for you! You’ll learn the latest University of Arizona recommendations for planting, soil tending, irrigation, fertilizing and optimal pruning of native and desert-adapted plants. This “essentials” class will provide you with a foundation for growing in the Sonoran desert environment. This class is geared toward residential participants, not professional landscapers.
Deborah North, Master Gardener, is an Arizona native. She is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor whose love of gardening has developed into a full-time job and a part-time volunteer activity.
Pre-Registration Required. If there is space available in the class, you can access it through the “REGISTER NOW” button. “WAITLIST REGISTRATION” is under the map, below.
Those who come to class but are not registered may “stand-by” and participate IF space is available (class size is dictated by fire code).
Those who are on the waiting list have priority for “stand-by”.
