  • October 21, 2017
    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Grant McCormick, Coordinator for the University of Arizona Planning, Design, and Construction department, and lecturer in the Soil, Water and Environmental Science department, for a close look at sensible, water-smart (and wallet-smart) rainwater harvesting systems for the home landscape. This informative workshop will focus on designing a passive and active rainwater catchment system for a residential landscape. Bring a sketch or site plan of your property to refer to during the workshop. The Tucson Water Single Family Residential Rainwater Harvesting Rebate Program is offering two rebate funding levels (up to $2,000) as incentive to install water harvesting on residential properties. For more information, please click on the above link (in blue).

This workshop is mandatory to qualify for the rebate. It is free, as are all of the Pima Smartscape classes.

Pre-Registration Required. If there is space available in the class, you can access it through the “REGISTER NOW” button.  “WAITLIST REGISTRATION” is under the map, below.

Those who come to class but are not registered may “stand-by” and participate IF space is available (class size is dictated by fire code).

Those who are on the waiting list have priority for “stand-by”.
