Jess is a Master's student in the Wildlife and Fisheries department. Her research focuses on the affects of wastewater exposure and endocrine disrupting compounds on the reproduction and development of a native fish, bonytail chub. She has been involved in a variety of Dr. Walker's other projects as well.

Jess is very interested in the native herpetofauna and fish of Arizona and has volunteered as an assistant in a variety of research projects involving native snakes, frogs, and fishes. She has also participated in a research project observing behaviors of crayfish, an invasive species of Arizona.
