Funding Category

Venture Capital funding assumes there is a return on the investment that aligns with one or more strategic goals of the college.  An example is a faculty start-up package.

Subsidy funding is a College payment for operational costs. The goal over time is to minimize or eliminate the need for ongoing college subvention and reinvest these funds into Venture Capital.

Graduate Funding is allocated to units for graduate student support from Tier 1/General Ed, Micro, or CALS GA funds.
