Chemical Use Maps to support whitefly resistance management

Peter Ellsworth and a team of colleagues have produced Chemical Use Maps, based on reported pesticide usage for 6 major modes of action commonly used to control whiteflies. The idea of the project is to provide maps of the previous year's use by July 1. PCAs can examine previous use patterns when making whitefly control decisions, to reduce risks of developing resistance. Maps are available to active PCAs and others upon request on a secure, password protected website http://resistance.cals.arizona.edu
