5th Annual University of Arizona Food Safety Conference

Food Safety and One Health

You, your students and colleagues are invited to attend the fifth annual University of Arizona Food Safety Conference, sponsored by the UA Food Safety Consortium. The 2014 Conference strives to align the consortium with the growing One Health movement and investigate approaches to food safety research which have a broader focus that includes multiple disciplines and addresses animal and environmental well being as well as human health outcomes. Researchers attending the conference will have the opportunity to interact with stakeholders and learn of current food and water safety concerns and research needs.


Student Poster Session:

The 2014 Student Poster Session for presentation will highlight current Food Safety research at the University and will include valuable cash prizes for the top posters.

New this year:

We will be hosting a lightning talk session for consortium members to present short (3 min, 1 slide) presentations on their work to facilitate research and funding collaborations.  Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to present a lightning talk and you will be provided further information.
