Instructions for Use, Citations, and Acknowledgment

Data users are requested to acknowledge their use of the Santa Rita Experimental Range (SRER) databases in publications, research proposals, websites, and any other outlets by including the following statement:

"Data sets were provided by the Santa Rita Experimental Range Digital Database. Funding for the digitization of these data was provided by USDA Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station and the University of Arizona, Arizona Experiment Station". 

In addition, where appropriate, users should reference in the literature cited sections of their publications the Santa Rita Experimental Range website and the SRER Digital Database User's Guide provided on Data Resources: "McClaran, Mitchel P.; Angell, Deborah L.; Wissler, Craig. 2002. Santa Rita Experimental Range digital database: user’s guide. Gen. Tech. Rep. RMRS-GTR-100. Ogden, UT: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station. 13 p."

Finally, users are requested to send an email message to Mitchel McClaran, SRER Director for Research (mcclaran@arizona.edu) with the citation and digital version of any publication that uses the SRER data resources.  The citation will be added to the Recent Publications bibliography.
